01 Who are we?

LASTEP is a scientific association that aims to disseminate and update scientific knowledge in the field of Toxicological and Experimental Pathology, in Brazil and throughout Latin America. With more than 15 years of life, ALAPTE has been promoting this area of ​​knowledge and related areas that are also important, namely: development of new molecules in their aspects of effectiveness and safety; anatomopathological and histopathological diagnoses; animal models of human diseases, among others.

 

02 What do we do?

LASTEP seeks to update and disseminate knowledge of Toxicological and Experimental Pathology through the organization and promotion of symposia, congresses, scientific lectures in loco and also through the internet (website and social networks) always trying to connect our partners and interested parties with national and international speakers.

03 How to participate in LASTEP?

​

As a scientific association, LASTEP has associate members who can obtain discounts on the activities of our society through affiliation and the payment of a small annual fee. In an attempt to spread and increase our number of affiliates, we are, at this moment, with free membership.

04   How to contribute to LASTEP?

​

Your participation is essential! It motivates and inspires us to continue the work of updating and spreading Toxicological and Experimental Pathology among Brazilians and Latin Americans in general, generating job opportunities and qualified jobs with great technological impact.

05 What are LASTEP's next events?

​

We have a Provisional Board that should hold new elections, counting on the affiliates' vote, to establish a new board and a subsequent statutory reform. But while this does not happen, LASTEP has been promoting technical-scientific symposia to motivate and encourage a greater number of professionals working in this area.
